GENERAL WAREHOUSING
In a broad sense of the word, General Warehousing is all of our special services combined. Pioneer provides, on an occasional basis, overflow warehousing for many local distribution centers. Pioneer also provides this service for trucking companies that have missed their scheduled appointments, and warehousing for companies that wish to maintain a small inventory, but who do not want to distribute it themselves.
In addition to the general warehousing that most public warehouses offer, Pioneer offers many special services in the areas of packaging. Pioneer can also save your company shipping costs with service such as freight consolidation, transloading, pool distribution, local cartage, freight brokerage, and unlimited in-house trucking capacity.
Pioneer offers 807,000 square feet of dry warehouse. Our pest-controlled, sanitized facilities have 45 doors, 28 foot high ceilings, 16 rail doors, large bays, racking, and constantly monitored, state-of-the-art security. Will-calls, crossdock and carpooling are available. Equipment includes: 17 propane lift trucks with 6,000 lb. capacity each and 7 electric lift trucks with 5,000 lb. capacity each. Attachments include 3 clamps, 2 basiloids, and 1 slipsheet.
